Requirements

Starting this January, student-consultants working in groups of 6, will spend 120+ hours per team researching potential/current conflict scenarios specific to your organization to provide recommendations for resolution and prevention.


Students will analyze the history and context of the conflict and develop an explanation of the cause. Based on your circumstances and desired outcomes, they will recommend multiple strategies to address the issue(s) (i.e. a collaborating, competing, or compromising solution).


Example outcomes include, but are not limited to:

  • Increasing open communication patterns inside your organization.
  • Instating a plan to optimize diversity.
  • Mitigating interpersonal conflicts between staff.
  • Resolving a clash in management styles.
  • Negotiating a dispute about the best usage of budget resources.
