Project Examples

Requirements

This summer, student-consultants working in groups of 6, will spend 120+ hours per team studying potential/current conflict scenarios specific to your organization. Students will analyze the history and context of organizational conflicts and develop an explanation of the cause.

Based on details about past conflicts, organizational size, industry, etc, student groups will provide recommendations for effective conflict prevention and resolution. They will present multiple tailored strategies for each of your desired outcomes.


Example outcomes include, but are not limited to:

  • Increasing open communication patterns inside your organization.
  • Instating a plan to optimize diversity.
  • Mitigating interpersonal conflicts between staff.
  • Resolving incongruities in management styles.
  • Negotiating a dispute about the best usage of budget resources.
