In 2016 we created the best tuque in the world. It retailed online for $250 and sold out in less than 24hrs. We want to explore the opportunity to make, distribute, and sell the tuque again more widely. We need assistance developing a sustainable marketing and sales plan. We would like to identify prospective retailers, reach out to contacts with our story, and secure product placements, as well as understand the costs and resources needed to do this in a sustainable way. An important part of this exercise will be to develop a simple business plan to validate the opportunity of bringing the tuque back to market.

Deliverables

The final project deliverable is at minimum a report/business plan including research, analysis, and recommendations. The ultimate project goal is to secure sufficient interest and sales to support bringing the tuque back to market in a permanent and sustainable way.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the CEO of Frontier who is supervising this project and available for questions. We would also expect regular progress meetings to review work done to date, opportunities, and to adjust the students' tasks and duties as needed.
